Role of HR
Our Resourcing Specialist and HR Team co-ordinate all recruitment activity. Our recruitment strategy going forward is to directly attract high calibre skills and competencies into our growing business.
Should we decide to engage in the support of a recruitment agency, our Resourcing Specialist will liaise with the relevant agency (if not identified as a vacancy suitable for an agency already on our PSL) and will continue to manage the process by firstly agreeing terms of business.
We publicise vacancies internally on our intranet, and in the Careers section of our website, we also advertise all vacancies which are open to external applicants.
We currently work in partnership with a small number of preferred suppliers that have a broad understanding of our business and our resourcing requirements.
Our preferred suppliers have a successful track record with Natural Power. At this time, we are not actively seeking to increase the number of agencies that we work with. At the point that we decide to review our PSL we will publish this information on our website.
We've found that working with a limited number of agencies on a particular assignment is more effective for us and for our suppliers. We're able to respond more quickly with feedback on candidates and we can facilitate meetings with line managers to help recruitment consultants get a better understanding of the company and the role. We only extend the briefing to more agencies if it proves very difficult to identify suitable candidates.
Unsolicited phone calls
Please be aware that we have a strict policy on unsolicited contact from recruitment agencies. This includes direct contact with our business Managers and Directors. Unsolicited phone calls reflect poorly on agencies and are likely to mitigate against their inclusion on our PSL.
We apologise to high quality recruitment agencies for this message, but we receive an unacceptable level of unsolicited contact and will strictly apply this policy in order to contain this issue.
Speculative candidate introductions
As a general rule we do not accept speculative referrals, and our willingness to look at CVs will depend in part on how long we have been trying to fill a particular post. If you feel very strongly that you have the ideal candidate for one of the vacancies that you have seen on our website, please register you details, including the CV, by writing to email@example.com.
You should be advised that if we do not engage you to search, but receive a speculative referral in relation to a specific role, we expect that your standard fee rate be heavily reduced (reflective of the amount of work carried out on the agencies behalf). If you are not able to negotiate your fee rate, please do not refer the CV to us.
