Natural Power present Complex Wind Regime Webinar

On Tuesday 24th July, international renewable energy consultancy Natural Power were joined by leading financial institutions, wind turbine manufacturers, developers and consultancy services globally for their free to attend webinar - ‘Mitigating Operational and Financial Risks of Siting Wind Energy Projects in Complex Wind Regimes’.

The hour long workshop, presented by Head of Business Development, Iheb Triki and Director of French Operations, Oisin Brady provided participants with a thorough understanding of what quantifies the complexity of a site’s wind resource, how the financial risks can be calculated and how the operational losses can be mitigated.  Attendees were also shown real world case studies, including lessons learned from operational sites, illustrating the importance of properly understanding and addressing issues relating to wind flow across sites in complex terrain.

Natural Power have been at the forefront of assisting developers develop sites in complex terrain for 7 years, and have  been working with the University of Porto to develop VENTOS®, their Complex Fluid Dynamics solver.
