In unusually soaring Scottish temperatures, 20 brave staff from Natural Power’s global headquarters The Green House and 2nd largest office, Falkirk took to the streets of Edinburgh to raise a grand total of £900 for a local charity as part of the Edinburgh Marathon’s Hairy Haggis Team Relay, on Sunday 27th May.
All the of teams put in a sterling effort to complete the relay in 4 hours, or less, with the team from Natural Power’s Construction Department completing the race in 6th place in a spectacular 03:04:16.
Natural Power wishes to thank all those who supported the teams in their efforts to raise such a great amount of money for Strathcarron Hospice.
Strathcarron Hospice commented: “Natural Power has raised a fantastic £900 so far for the work of the hospice and we are really delighted to accept this donation. Not only have the team raised a wonderful amount of money they have also trained very hard to take part in this race. On behalf of the hospice we would like to thank the team for their efforts and can assure them and their sponsors that this money will be put to very good use here at the hospice.”
