ECOLOGY CLERK OF WORKS

Often a developer onshore is required by the legal prescriptions of the planning conditions to provide an independent ‘second opinion’ as an Ecological or Hydrological Clerk of Works (on-site during construction). Our high level experience within the wind farm industry dictates our ability to confirm on-site operations of a given project with high level knowledge of local legislation and policy requirements for renewable projects. Our ecologists can provide watching briefs, hydrological monitoring, compliance monitoring and ecological survey to ensure that consented development projects are constructed to agreed environmental plans and with minimal impact upon the habitat. In addition, offshore our ecology staff can provide experienced Marine Mammal Observer roles, Environmental Consent Compliance and specific watching briefs.
