Our wind farm construction managers have a proven track record in development, pre-construction and construction phases of projects, delivering the completed project to the operations and maintenance phase. We have a wealth of experience working on both small scale wind farms through to projects in excess of 150 MW.
During the pre-construction phase of the project we assist in the preparation of necessary legal agreements, discharge suspensive planning conditions and complete lease and land agreements. We are able to formalise the grid connection offer and draft agreement, initiate and undertake site investigation works, advise on contracting strategy and pre-qualify any contractors.
We prepare and manage wind turbine and balance of plant works tenders, and can assist in contract preparation and delivery. We also act as Owner’s Engineer or equivalent in the turbine and balance of plant contracts, and act as technical advisor to funders during contract negotiations and delivery.
Once the project has moved to the construction phase, many of the services offered above can be extended and developed through to the completion of the project. In addition to this we can also provide experienced site representatives to monitor the quality and progress of works who can manage Health & Safety, undertake contract management and report progress to the Employer. We can liaise with the grid operator and finalise the connection/adoption agreements, arrange metering for the project and prepare the Health & Safety File on behalf of the Employer.
