Local Site Management
Our Wind Farm Site Managers are the owner’s representative on site, responsible for managing maintenance activities, controlling and initiating work and ensuring all operations on site are to the highest health and safety standards while ensuring the operational interests of the owner are fully represented.
The site manager is the key decision maker when it comes to reviewing contractors capabilities, working plans, and setting them to work. As experienced engineers, trained to Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) level they are able to manage all work on High Voltage systems, undertaking or managing all switching, isolation and earthing. This level of skill allows them to manage high voltage faults swiftly, to minimise site downtime and the consequential financial loss. Key tasks include:
