Our methodology takes full account of the experience gained from our involvement in a significant number of recent projects in the UK, Europe and North America including the performance of due diligence on portfolios of international sites for development and financing. We are uniquely placed and fully aware of the requirements and challenges throughout all stages of a renewable energy development.
Within marine power, our achievements are keeping pace with the rapidly developing sector and we list some of these below:
- We have undertaken the resource assessment and site selection for the largest wave and tidal site portfolio in the world.
- We have demonstrated industry leadership and involvement in independent power producer associations for wind, tidal and wave in Chile, Canada, the US and Europe.
- We were chosen by The Crown Estate government agency in the United Kingdom to survey baseline wave data in partnership with the United Kingdom Meteorological Office.
- We are experienced using industry leading assessment tools in the wave and tidal sector, including MIKE21 hydrodynamic modelling for wave and tidal.
- We have co-developed industry tidal and wave resource assessment standards in the UK.
- We have gained substantial practical experience of device deployment and testing having participated in demonstration device development projects in the UK and Norway.
