Energy for the future – safe and sustainable

May 20, 2019

At Natural Power safety is at the core of everything we do. As such, we will be attending the IWEA Health & Safety Conference 2019 which takes place on 22nd May at the Mount Wolseley Hotel in Tullow, Co Carlow.

This conference is aimed at safety for non-safety people, and while safety professionals are also welcome you do not need to be up-to-date with the latest safety legislation or practices – it’s not that kind of conference. Instead, it is pitched to suit a wide range of people working in our industry – from CEOs to technicians to project engineers across civil, turbine, electrical, operations and offshore wind, and across the entire spectrum of almost 6,000 people working in our industry.

The day has a range of presentations, demonstrations and interactive elements so should deliver something for everyone.

This year, IWEA has the CEO of the Health and Safety Authority, Dr. Sharon McGuinness, as keynote speaker. She was appointed last Summer and will outline the HSA’s new strategy, which could have a large bearing on our industry in years to come.

In addition, there will also be presentations and demonstrations on driving for work, offshore safety, emergency preparedness, working at height, load handling in nacelles and more from a range of leading national and international speakers.

Marc McLoughlin, Business Development Manager, will be attending along with our Regional Asset Manager, Terry Tighe. Should you have time to have a chat about our diverse range of development, construction and operational services at any stage throughout the day, please contact
