We’re looking forward to being part of the upcoming Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA) Annual Conference – Advancing Towards Net Zero, which takes place in Dublin this Thursday, 2nd October 2025.
Our Managing Director, Ciaran Farrell, will be joining the panel session on Workforce & Industry Development – The Regulatory Landscape: Balancing Growth with Sustainability Tracks for the late morning session from 11:30am – 12:30pm, where we’ll explore how the industry can continue to expand while ensuring resilience and sustainability.
Ireland is an important market for Natural Power. To date, we’ve delivered a total of 331 renewable energy projects across the country, equating to 20,799 MW. Of these, more than 100 projects have been in solar, representing around 3,740 MW of capacity.
Our team has supported solar developers, investors, and operators at every stage of the project lifecycle. Whether it’s providing initial feasibility studies, acting as owner’s engineer or lender’s technical advisor during construction, or supporting asset owners through inspections, due diligence, and strategic advisory services, we’ve built a reputation for delivering trusted, bankable expertise. We also regularly support clients seeking to sell and acquire assets by delivering comprehensive technical due diligence for mergers and acquisitions of solar projects, ensuring that both buyers and sellers have a clear understanding of asset value, risks and opportunities in the Irish market.
One recent project we’re particularly proud of is acting as technical adviser to support NTR on behalf of the L&G NTR Clean Power (Europe) Fund, to successfully acquire the solar and battery energy storage system portfolio ‘Project Monvallet’ in Co. Louth, Ireland; and the solar portfolio ‘Project Ballyteige’ in Co. Offaly, Ireland. This highlights the breadth of our involvement in helping to bring renewable energy assets online safely and efficiently.
In recent years, we’ve continued to strengthen our presence here. We opened a new Dublin office to support our expanding client base, welcomed Eoghan Tuite as our Country Lead for Ireland, and grown our technical team to meet increasing demand for services. We’ve even expanded further west with the official opening of our Castlebar office and now employ 24 staff across the two offices. We’re also a member of Solar Ireland’s Working Group on Planning which aims to optimise the planning system to ensure a smoother, faster delivery of utility-scale projects. These steps reflect our long-term commitment to supporting Ireland’s renewable energy transition.
Solar is set to play an increasingly central role in Ireland’s journey to net zero, and we’re excited to be part of the conversation at ISEA’s flagship event. We’re looking forward to connecting with industry peers, sharing our experiences, and learning from the many experts and innovators who’ll be contributing to this year’s agenda.
