We’ve appointed Sorcha Versteeg as our new Commercial Director, strengthening our senior leadership team as we continue to grow the business across the global renewable energy sector.
Sorcha brings more than 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, spanning strategic development, commercial leadership, business growth and project delivery across renewable energy and offshore sectors. She has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, developing high-value partnerships and driving commercial growth across onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS and co-location projects. Her experience spans commercial leadership, strategic transformation and the delivery of complex renewable energy projects, with a strong record in developing markets, securing major contracts and guiding clients through technical and commercial challenges.

Alongside her commercial and strategic leadership experience, Sorcha has actively participated in industry innovation and policy through membership of wind and renewable energy trade association committees focussing on net zero, offshore wind and FLOW advancement. She is also an experienced industry commentator, regularly contributing to sector publications and discussions, including as a panellist on Windpower Monthly’s Wind Power Podcast. Sorcha holds an MBA with distinction from Robert Gordon University, a BSc (Hons) in Geomatics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Government & Policy and an APM Project Management Qualification. She also supports sustainability and leadership learning at Robert Gordon University’s Aberdeen Business School through participation in its annual MBA leadership module.
