A Geoscience graduate from Galloway, Adam joined Natural Power from university. As an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer, he splits his time between site work and office-based tasks, from digging trial pits to sifting through ground investigation data. Overcoming the challenges of new sites and problematic ground conditions are among his favourite aspects of the job. Adam has played a significant part in the Geotechnical team’s ground investigation work on over 40 wind farms in around a decade of operation.

Andy Cheng

Stirling, Scotland
Andy joined Natural Power directly from university in 2010, having studied aerodynamics and renewable energy. Natural Power has worked on more than 120 projects around the world, and Andy cites a project in Kenya as one of his highest achievements. As a Wind Analyst working on more than 5GW of projects, his day involves anemometry management and layout design, optimisation and energy yield analysis on a number of sites.

Andy Yuill

Stirling, Scotland
It wasn’t until Andy added a renewable energy degree to his manufacturing engineering qualification that he became interested in sustainable heating. With a direct involvement in more than 30 bioenergy projects globally totalling 500MW, Natural Power is a leading consultant in the sector. Always looking to the latest industry developments, Andy’s interest in technology has already been useful on a number of Natural Power projects.
